Drug charges likely following recent Wilson County arrests

Many Tennessee residents have had parties at their homes at one time or another. During those times, there were likely cars coming and going while the party was underway. Recently, such activity at one home caught the eye of local police officers. An investigation of the activity led to several arrests for drug charges in Wilson County.

A deputy in the Wilson County Sheriff's Office had noticed heavy traffic in an area while on patrol. He went to a home where a party was apparently being held. The officer questioned the owner and reportedly smelled marijuana. A search warrant was then obtained.

Upon the search, marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms and fentanyl were evidently found. In addition, reports show that drug paraphernalia was also discovered. Officers stated that a homemade pill press, some weapons and several thousand dollars were located.

One individual was arrested for a domestic assault warrant and felony vandalism from other neighboring police districts. Another person was arrested for failure to appear for drug paraphernalia and simple possession from a nearby county. The Grand Jury is investigating the Wilson County arrests, and additional charges are likely for intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of firearms during the commission of a dangerous felony.
