Man faces drug charges after allegedly exposing himself

Sometimes, a simple trip to the store can take a strange turn. That's what happened to shoppers at a Tennessee Walmart who got an unusual "goodbye" as they left the store's parking lot last Friday evening. According to reports, police were called after receiving complaints that a man was exposing himself to cars exiting the store's parking lot. The man now faces drug charges. 

According to reports, police were called by a woman who claimed that a man had exposed himself to her. She stated that the man then fled the scene. Based on a description she provided, police were able to identify the suspect at a nearby store.

The suspect turned out to be a 65-year-old local man. While police were questioning the man, he allegedly admitted to them that he had recently smoked marijuana and currently had some still in his pocket. Police also found a bag of what they believe to be methamphetamine in the suspect's possession. According to the officers, he had a strong odor of marijuana smoke and acted as if he was intoxicated.

What started out as an indecent exposure complaint resulted in the man being arrested on drug charges. The charges he now faces include simple possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of marijuana, and public intoxication. While these charges are very common in Tennessee courtrooms, they are serious allegations that can have life-long consequences.
